It's 4:45pm, store hours say until 6:00pm. We even called to say we are coming and no one is here. Pretty poor business practice. We just bought a new house in Celebration and wanted to support local business. We are re-doing all the floors, but we'll be going elsewhere.
We had carpet laid in a very large room and the guys did a fantastic job, cleaned up and took away all the waste. We were delighted with the professional service, delivered and installed on the pre-arranged day. The price was very fair and reasonable.
There is a very similar complaint on the BBB site and I have posted this on the Front Porch in Celebration today, within two hours a person has posted their issue with Carpet One and I also received a private email.
We were warned by a neighbor about an issue they had but we still went ahead with Carpet One,,,,,,,BIG MISTAKE!!
The products are of good quality but priced rather high, we elected to keep our business local, it was the installation that was a nightmare.
We had a huge problem with the installation of wood floors in four rooms. The crew took 6 days, we were told it would be three days. They didn't show any respect for our house, never cleaned up at the end of the day, damaged furniture, a light switch, trim and left glue all over the house.
It took us a full week to get our house back in order.
The installers were a father, mother and two sons, never were they on time and never did we have the same two people on the job at any point; no one took the lead or any pride in workmanship.
The management of the business didn't care about our issues, they just wanted to be paid, I would strongly caution against using this company.
Good place for find and by flooring
We had to bring in our carpenter to remove the trim and do that part of the job over, the workmanship was unacceptable.
